1925, il crée la société Tubest, très vite devenue un des leaders européens, notamment dans la fabrication de tuyaux et gaines flexibles jusqu'en 1970.

1971, il achète les ruines du château et le sauve d'un délabrement irréversible par une restauration importante.

1984, le Conseil Général de l'Aisne en devient légataire et propriétaire avec comme conditions d'en assurer la sauvegarde.

In 1971, he bought the ruins of the castle and saved it from irreversible dilapidation by a major restoration.

In 1984, the General Council of the Aisne became legatee and owner with the conditions of ensuring their safeguarding.
