1. The Hexagon House Marker
Inscription. Like Goldsmith Coffeen, his home was different. Built according to his plans, the three-story home is six- sided, or a hexagon. It was thought such houses had “the most practical and healthful plan.” With its foyer and then 13 closets being triangle-shaped, most rooms were “normal.” In 1984 it was put on the National Register.
