1. Miller Family Farm side of marker
Inscription. Miller Family Farm – Born in Bad Bergzabern, Germany in 1826, stonemason Peter Miller came to the U.S. in 1850. Married in 1852, he and his wife. Margaret. had four children. In 1877, they bought 114 acres north of Lebanon. Son Charles returned to the farm with his four children after his wife, Lucy. died in 1897. Charles died in 1906 and Peter in 1907.

Miller Park – After Charles' death, his son, Will, 18, took over the farming. In 1916, Will married a local teacher, Harriet Snook. They farmed for 66 years and reared two children, Ed and Ellen. In 1993, to honor his family's love of the land, Ed sold 46 acres to Lebanon for the Will and Harriet Miller Ecological Park.
