Other houses in the district built by merchants and/or professionals include the G. Leckner-J.K. Miller House … The Leckner-Miller House was built c. 1870 in the Pre-Classical I-House type. J.K. Miller purchased the house in 1874. He was in the hardware business with his father W.R. Miller in the 1870's and 1880's, and then the grocery business in the 1890's. The grocery passed on to his son H.E. Miller after J.K. Miller's death in 1906.
