Dromaeosaurus had a large "killing claw" on each foot that helped it take down prey. • This dinosaur's long legs suggest it was a fast runner, which is why its name is Greek for "running lizard." The first Dromaeosaurus fossil was found in Alberta in 1914. Additional fossils have been unearthed in Montana.
