Dans ce bâtiment siégea à partir du printemps 1916 le Conseil national des Pays tchèques, devenu Conseil national tchécoslovaque en mai 1917, organe fondateur de la Tchécoslovaquie indépendante le 28 octobre 1918 sous la présidence de T.G. Masaryk.

V této budove sídlila od jara 1916 Česká národní rada, od května 1917 Československá národní rada, stojící u zrodu Československa, jež získalo nezávislost 28. října 1918 a jehož prezidentem se stal T. G. Masaryk.


(English translation:)
This building in the spring of 1916 was the headquarters of the National Council of Czech Lands, which in May 1917, became the Czechoslovak National Council - the founding body of an independent Czechoslovakia, achieving independence on October 28, 1918 under the presidency of T.G. Masaryk.
